As we unwind from the manic deal-hunting and shopping frenzy of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, I’d like to take a moment to share what I think is the best way to kickoff the holiday season: Giving Tuesday.
The Giving Tuesday global campaign is a chance for us to celebrate generosity and to give. Although giving will never be out of season, this day is such a pleasant reminder that holidays are not just about the gifts we receive or buying an obligatory tchotchke for this person or that one… it should also be about sharing what you have for people, organizations, or communities in need.
And don’t worry, if you run out of time today, you can still give tomorrow. ;)
