A few facts: They will cover their eyes with their cute paws to help them sleep (video below). They hold hands when they sleep so the other doesn’t float away. The sea otter can live its entire life without leaving the water. The sea otter is one of the few mammal species on Earth to use a tool to help it hunt and feed. Sea otters are the cutest.
When I hear the word “cute,” I don’t immediately think of frogs. But this image of two frogs taking shelter from the rain with a reassuring arm on the other’s back, made me pause and smile. This looks like a love song. Let’s take care of each other.
This hedgehog’s hat game is on point. It is so cute. That is all.
Wishing you a weekend as happy as this.
I saw a story last night that simply made me giddy: A couple who had been dating for a year just found out two weeks ago that they were each other’s pre-k “sweethearts!” According to People.com, Amy and Justin actually met each other online and at a later conversation in their relationship, Justin mentioned that he always liked her name since he had a crush in preschool named “Amy” also. As it turns out, Amy went to the same preschool and after some digging, they were able to find a photo of the two of them together, from 30 years ago! Justin’s crush have always been her after all! What?! Call it coincidence, call it fate … either way, I thought this is such a sweet story and if it made me smile, I know it will make someone else smile too. :) Check out the full story.
Over 10 years ago in Southern Japan, Yukio Nishimoto found a badly injured penguin caught in a fishing net. He nursed him back to health, studied penguins, and built a special refrigerated room under their house just for him. Now Lala is part of the family and he even helps them do a little shopping! How cool is this?! Check out his video…
I’m not talking about a hotel mini-bar. I’m referring to the itty-bitty sushi bar/izakaya that Ginji the hamster is managing as seen here. I’ve been seeing Ginji’s rise to fame on the internet but the more recent photos that I came across via my brother’s Tumblr blog is just so ridiculous in its cuteness that I HAVE to share it here. It definitely made me smile — I hope it makes you smile too! Happy Monday! For more on Ginji and his bar, check out RocketNews. Or, if you can read Japanese, follow the man responsible for it all on Twitter @kawanabesatou.
Have a wonderful day!

I found this photo on Pinterest and it brought a gigantic smile to my heart and my dry winter cheeks. I could almost hear the little guy’s laughter through his radiant face in this photograph … and the banana leaf is just priceless. Photo Credit: Kendisan Seruyan
